SYSTEM ANALYST

A system analyst is  a person who conducts a study , identify the problem and activities, objectives and scope and determines a procedure to achieve the objectives of the proposed system.

                   System analyst should have unique skills so that they cordinate the efforts of different persons in an organisation to acheive system goals.  S/He design and implement system according to the need of organisation.

            A successful system analyst carries out the following job :-

• The most difficult task of the system analyst is to define the problem because problem cannot be solved until they are precisely and clearly defined.
• System analyst must consult with managers, users and other data processing professionals to develop solution. He should use various method to gether the data.
• After gathering data, the system analyst analyses them and thins of plans to solve it.

                       He also pulls together other people ideas and refines them until a workable solution is acheived.

• S/He coordinate the process of developing solutions and evaulate the best approach of solution before recommending to the management.
• System analyst also known as "planner".  He develop a plan to meet the management,s objectives.
• After planning , system analyst is responsible for designing it so that management's goal is achieved.
• System analyst also coordinates the testing procedure and make decision whether the new system meet the requirement in planning phase.
